Does anyone ever come here anymore? I’ve posted about 4 times since I changed the layout, and I have only gotten one response. (Thanks Nat) What’s the use anymore. I’m Out.
Places you might find me:
- March 17th - 18th - Thunder in the Valley, Columbus, GA
- April 28th - 29th - Vidalia Onion Festival Air Show, Vidalia, GA - Snowbirds
- October 13th - 14th Great Georgia Air Show, Peachtree City, GA
- October 20th - 21st Team Moody Air Fest, Moody AFB, GA - Blue Angels
These are all the ones that I can find. Does anyone else know of any other air shows in Georgia?
I thought I would post a list of the simple gadgets that I can’t live with out.
- Jump Drive - I have a 1 gig Kingston jump drive, that I keep all my precious files on, like class projects, my schedule and even my resume. It’s so much easier to carry around a jump drive than it is to lug my laptop around. I even keep portable programs installed on it, like Portable Openoffice to work on my documents and Portable Gimp to edit images.
- Video Camera - My brother Joe and my brother-in-law got Kevin and I a Samsung Digital Video camcorder. I haven’t used it much yet, but it comes in handy when you have a new baby to take lots of movies of.
- Digital Camera - I have an Olympus IR-300. I take it everywhere and take pictures of everything. I even keep a mini tripod in my purse.
- Cell Phone - I am addicted to my phone. I have the Sanyo Katana from Sprint. I have a lot of fun uploading background images, screen savers and programs to it. I have Bejeweled Multiplayer that let’s me play against other people on my phone, and Telenav GPS installed (Who needs a Tom-Tom when you’ve got this?). One good site I frequent is www.ringerpost.com, which is a forum that shows you how to upload files to your phone for free. And, it’s pink!!!
- Laptop - If it wasn’t for my Gateway laptop, I wouldn’t be able to geekout, surf or blog. I enjoy Sunday afternoons geeking out at Atlanta Bread Co. and mooching off their free Wifi. I’ve been known to spend 6 hours there at a time.
I guess this is my top 5, I would like to hear from everyone else now. What items can you not live without?
I decided since we are bringing in a new year, that I would bring y’all a new design. Tell me what you think about it and let me know if you see any issues with it. This will be a work in progress and BTW, I already know the photo album isn’t working. Hope everyone is having a Happy New Year.
Just want to tell everyone Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Holidays!
I am trying to upload new pictures I took last week when we took Alexander to the aquarium for the first time. Since this thing is only letting me upload 1 image at a time, instead of 10 like it is supposed to. I don’t have all day to sit here. I have a final to study for. Awwww, how sad. My last aviation course at Georgia State. O well, I will get over it. I have 4 classes left at GSU till I graduate. Go enjoy the photos now. I will upload more later. Click on Alex to go see them.
Everything has been going great with the baby. Alexander is growing up so fast already, he has grown out of some of his onsies. He has to be over 10 pounds by now. He smiles and coos a lot now. I have been taking so many pictures and have been uploading them to my photo album. I have a few little movie clips that I will have to upload soon. So, go check them out, I will keep uploading more soon. Thats it for now, baby is crying…
Sorry for taking so long to post this but, it has been a long week. This past Friday, I gave birth to my son, Alexander Riley. He is my little cuddle bunny! He was born at 5:46 pm, September 22nd. He weighed 7 pounds and measured 18.5 inches long. Most of the pictures my husband took for me are uploaded.
