I am 4 days overdue now. I went for a checkup yesterday and had another sonogram. They were checking the well being of the baby and the amniotic fluid. Everything looks great, just waiting for those contractions to really start. Kevin went with me, and we got to see the baby’s face this time. (Check back later for pics) Have to go back tomorrow for an NST. After that, they will have to schedule me for an induction. Maybe he will be born tomorrow night or Friday. I will keep y’all posted.

Oh, and BTW, that eggplant thing, no workie! Went to Provino’s on Friday and ordered the eggplant parmigana. The waitress asked if I had signed up for the baby club, and I gave her this strange look like, “Oh, you’re on to my eggplant plan!” Ate my eggplant and signed up after dinner. They write your name in a book and start the time for 48 hours. If I had the baby within 48 hours, I would have gotten $25 gift card and a tee shirt for the baby. Maybe I should go back tonight and start the clock again.

Well, today is my baby’s due date, but he doesn’t want to come out and play. You think he would be ready to go by now, he has been very busy in my belly. I will let y’all know if something happens later tonight. He has one hour left.

I went to the doctor yesterday and everything checked out fine with the baby, just waiting for those contractions to start. My due date is this Saturday, and the doctor said if I go over my due date, I will have to have a sonogram on Tuesday and an NST to check amniotic fluid and baby’s well being on Thursday. If nothing happens by then, they will schedule an induction. Now, I am thinking about posting an eviction notice for the baby. Baby has till Saturday! I am ready to test the eggplant theory out.

Got a new phone over the weekend, and I can’t put it down. It’s the Sanyo Katana and it’s pink! I keep putting pics and songs on it. Now, I have been making backgrounds too. I decided to make a new category of images called Phone Backgrounds. All the images are 240 x 320. A good way to get the pics on your phone is to go to http://t1mmy.net/phone/phone.html and follow the instructions on the site. After you upload a file, it will create a download list at, for example http://t1mmy.net/v/5555555555 (you would put your phone number in place of the fives.) You would then browse this site from your phone, and will be able to download any files you’ve uploaded.

Went to the doctor’s today, and during the checkout, I found out that I am 2 centimeters dilated so far, but that doesn’t mean I am in labor yet. Baby is almost ready to download! This past weekend, we finally painted the babies room. Uncle Joe came over to help us out. The color is called skyward, and will look great with the airplane decorations. I finally got off my ass and uploaded some pics to my site. There are some pictures from my second baby shower, bump watch and painting the baby’s room.

Had my baby shower at my house yesterday, hosted by Kristin. We took a bunch of photos and played a couple of really fun games. We all had a really good time. We played the cotton ball game, which I have no idea what it has to do with babies or baby showers. The goal is to scoop up as many cotton balls into a bowl while blind folded. Sounds easy, but you can’t feel the weight of the cotton balls. It’s funny to watch people scoop spoonfulls of air, when they think they have a spoonful of cotton. We also played the bloomers game, which is kind of like musical chairs and hot potato. I wrapped a box with a pair of “bloomers” in gift wrap 8 times. While everyone passes the box around, music plays. When the music stops, that person has to take a layer of gift wrap off. Kristin and I had everyone convinced that whoever unwraps the last layer of giftwrap has to wear the pair of bloomers for the rest of the party. It was funny to watch some of these women throw the box clear across the room, so they didn’t have to wear the bloomers. The surprise, however, is there were no bloomers. In the box was a cute flower to wear. My mom go the flower!

Today, I will download this baby in 100 days. Just thought I’d post that.

How is everyone doing. I have been really busy between work and going to the doctor to have checkups for the baby and hunting for a new job. My belly is getting bigger everyday now. The baby kicks me all the time. Just yesterday, he decided to make a little room by poking my belly button. It looked like someone poking their finger through a plastic bag. He managed to leave a small bruise and it was very uncomfortable. Just 3 more months.

I have seven classes left! School starts back in a couple weeks. I plan on taking two classes this Summer and one class in Fall and four class in Spring of 2007 then I will be graduated! Fall should be interesting since the baby’s due date is 4 days after the semeter starts (or something like that). I plan on at least 2 weeks off of everything, but I will probably need more time than that. I’m sure my teachers will understand, we’ll see.

I’ve stopped flying since January, when I found out we were having a baby. I really miss flying the warrior. I plan on getting back to flying probably in October or beginning of next year. I will not go back to flying at Aviation Atlanta but instead, I will try one of the flight schools at KRYY. Either Aero Atlanta or Superior Flight School. They raised the rates at Aviation Atlanta and for the same amount of money, there are some better planes at KRYY.

Kevin, I and a couple of our friends take geeking out seriously. Sometimes we like to hang out at the Atlanta Bread Company to eat dinner and surf on our laptops.
